Operation
1. Start small by putting a manageable amount of dirt into your gold pan.
2. Completely submerge your pan in a tub of water, ensuring it's fully covered.
3. Shake the pan underwater to create a 'soupy' mix, but be careful not to spill any dirt out.
4. Slightly tilt your pan and gently wash water in and out, allowing the dirt to be carried away with the water.
5. Level your pan again and shake it to further separate the dirt.
6. Continue this process until only the heaviest black sands and gold remain in your pan.
7. Swirl water across the black sands and tap the edge of your pan to effectively separate the gold from the sand.
