Operation
1. Begin by placing a small amount of dirt into your gold pan. Remember, starting with less is more.
2. Submerge your pan completely into a tub of water.
3. Shake the pan underwater to create a soupy mixture from the dirt. Be cautious not to spill any out.
4. Slightly tilt your pan and wash water in and out, allowing the dirt to be carried away with the water.
5. After removing some dirt, level the pan again and continue shaking.
6. Repeat this process until only the heaviest black sands and gold remain.
7. Swirl water across the black sands and gently tap the pan's edge to separate the gold from the sand.
